Carmen Villatoro

I'm Carmen Villatoro, an architect and spatial designer with a Master's degree and specialization in Retail Design and Visual Merchandising from the University of Valencia.

For me, design goes beyond aesthetics. Every space should respond to a clear purpose, communicate a story and shape the way people feel, move and connect within it.

Through Liminal, I work across retail, hospitality and residential projects, combining spatial strategy, concept development and thoughtful design decisions to create environments that feel contemporary, sophisticated and deeply personal.

I'm drawn to the details that are often felt before they are noticed: the balance of materials, the rhythm of a space, the transitions between moments and the atmosphere that brings everything together.

Ultimately, my goal is to create spaces that feel meaningful, intentional and impossible to forget.
